I’m looking to add a new circuit to my electrical panel. The reason i ask is i picked up a an ideal label kit for my panel rewire job, only to find it has very small tape pieces with numbers. A 90a breaker in the new panel will feed the old panel, so existing circuits can be left in the old panel for the time being. There is plenty of space for the new breaker, but the neutral / ground bar is totally full.

But it is a problem for the neutral as you are supposed to only have one neutral wire for one screw. If you are sure you are resetting the breaker properly (see post #2 by jim) then i would check to see what else is on this circuit besides detectors. That’s not a big deal for the ground wire as you can have more than one ground wire to a screw.

What is the torque setting for 2 hots and ground coming in from the service entrance cables to meter sock?
